White wine from Burgundy. 100% Aligoté. Appellation Bourgogne Aligoté. Viticulture respectful of the environment and the people who live and work there. Natural winemaking, aged 18 months in demi-muids, bottled unfiltered.
Bought from my father in 2014, its clay soils mean it doesn’t suffer from water stress and ripens beautifully to produce golden, well-balanced grapes. As the Pierres terroir is quite gelling and susceptible to disease, it’s rare to succeed in producing a vintage without losing a few grapes in the process!
MILLÉSIMES
This is the story of a Burgundian winemaker who came to Luberon. He drew on his roots to make unique wines in the south.
A family call and a timely proposal put the winemaker back on the road. Today, from north to south and south to north, each vintage is written in the plural.
